The City of Seattle contracts with Allied Waste Services for the collection of garbage, recycling and organic materials from residential, multi-family and commercial customers.

• Residential and Multi-family
  Customer Service is provided by Seattle Public Utilities 206-684-3000.

• Commercial
  Customer Service is provided by Allied Waste Services at 206-332-7777.

City of Seattle Recycling Guidelines start in January 2005

Starting in January 2005 the City of Seattle has new recycling guidelines for residents and businesses. For more information please choose your service type below:

• Residential recycling information
• Business recycling information

Service rates are determined by the garbage can size chosen. Recycling more items may result in a smaller garbage container and less costs for you. It pays to recycle!
