  • Paper (staples and paper clips ok), junk mail, computer and copy paper, catalogs, brochures, envelopes (windows ok), magazines, newspaper, ream wrappers, telephone books, paper boxes (liner removed) gift wrap (no foil or ribbon), shredded paper (put in clear plastic bag - tie securely)
  • Cardboard (flattened)
  • Poly-coated paper drink boxes* (soy and juice, rinsed), frozen food boxes (clean), milk cartons (rinsed), juice cartons and ice cream cartons (rinsed, no lids)

    Empty and rinsed, no caps.

* Not sure if a carton or box is poly-coated? Use the scratch and tear test. If you scratch it and see wax, throw it into the Garbage. If you tear it and see a thin layer of plastic-coated paper, rinse, flatten and recycle!
