- Included with your single-family garbage service.
- Small Electronics, Small Appliances, and Clothing and Linens can now be recycled at the curb. Simply bag, label and set out next to your Blue Recycling Cart on your collection day.
- Do not put small electronics, small appliances, or clothing and linens in the Blue Recycling Cart. They must be collected separately.
Small Electronics Recycling Instructions
- Working or non-working electronics must be less than 2' in any direction and 60 lbs. in weight per item
- Larger items do not need to be bagged; however, if bagged, clearly mark "Electronics"
- Place near to the Blue Recycling Cart for recycling
- Examples of items that can be recycled:
- Computers
- TV's (21" size limit)
- VCRs
- Audio equipment
- Cell phones
! Small Electronics contain hazardous materials and will be disassembled in compliance with Washington State Department of Ecology Standards by a certified recycler.
Small Appliance Recycling Instructions
- Working or non-working appliances must be less than 2' in any direction and 60 lbs. in weight per item
- Place in a securely closed plastic bag clearly marked "Appliances"
- Place near to the Blue Recycling Cart for recycling
- Examples of items that can be recycled:
- Hair dryers
- Toasters
- Blenders
Clothing and Linen Recycling Instructions
- Must be clean, dry, non-moldy and usable
- Place in a securely closed plastic bag clearly marked "Clothing"
- Placed near to the Blue Recycling Cart for recycling
- Examples of items that can be recycled:
- Blankets and bedspreads
- Clothing
- Draperies and curtains
- Linens, such as sheets, towels and tablecloths
NO - Do Not Put Near the Blue Recycling Cart
- Large TV's (Screen over 21")
- Shoes with sharp heels, skates or slippers
- Mattresses
